It's one of our planet's paradoxes: seventy percent of earth is covered in water, yet only two and a half percent is fresh, clean, and easily accessible. In cities across the global South, the effects of wasted water can be seen and felt everywhere. And as population levels explode, access to clean drinking water is becoming an enormous challenge. It is a crisis that experts say will only grow more dire in the years ahead.
