UN, Sustainable Peace in Sight for Darfur
"Sustainable Peace is in sight for Darfur", said UN-African Envoy, Ibrahim Gambari, briefing the UN Security Council on Tuesday. However, with renewed fighting between the Sudanese government and rebels from the Darfur region's Justice and Equality Movement is adding to outstanding challenges. Gambari noted there is a long way to go.
