2011 Central American Travel Market Held in Panama’s Capital
In many developing countries, the tourism industry can be an invaluable asset. It
brings foreign money in, and creates whole new industries that can dramatically
improve a local people’s quality of life. To promote regional tourism and ensure
that it is sustainable, Panama City, the capital of Panama, is hosting the Central
American Travel Market, where industry leaders meet to share best practices and
