Mrs. Pignato described a new initiative that she is spearheading called Ciudad Mujer – or Women City – which aims to provide women with healthcare services, while empowering them politically, economically, and socially. Through Ciudad Mujer, women are offered a guarantee of a worthy lifestyle, with complete respect for their rights. The project is proving so popular that plans are underway to expand beyond the original location.
