When an economy slows down, its investments in its own infrastructure are often the first to suffer. A new World Bank report indicates that this has been the case over the past two years, as global infrastructure that facilitates international trade has been in decline since 2010, as countries have hunkered down for tough economic times.

If humans do not shift consumption behavior by 2030, even two planets will not be enough to support the world's population, warns The Living Planet Report, released today by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). Underlining humans' dangerous over-consumptive patterns, the Report states that people are using 50 percent more resources than the Earth can provide.
